MALAYSIA DAYBOOK: Rate Decision, Factory Output, Gas Malaysia

Nov. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Malaysia's central bank is expected
to hold its benchmark overnight policy rate at 3 percent when
policymakers meet for the last time this year, according to all
17 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News. Bank Negara Malaysia
is scheduled to release the monetary policy statement at 6 p.m.
Malaysian industrial production likely gained 0.6 percent
in September from a 0.7 percent decline a month earlier,
according to the median estimate of 16 economists surveyed by
Bloomberg News. The government is expected to release factory
output data at 12:01 p.m.
