Nov. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Malaysian government and the European
Free Trade Association will meet in Kuala Lumpur for the signing
of the scope of the Malaysia-EFTA free trade agreement.

WHAT TO WATCH:
* Shareholders of KFC Holdings to vote on proposed buyout
offer by Johor Corp. and CVC Capital Partners; shareholders
of KFC's parent QSR Brands to vote tomorrow

MARKETS:
* FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index fell 1.2%
* The MSCI Asia Pacific Index rose 0.6%
* The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 1.1%
* Palm oil Jan-delivery futures dropped 1.6%
