Oct. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks gained, with the
region's benchmark index rebounding from last week's decline,
led by raw-material shares after the U.S. economy expanded more
than economists expected.
The MSCI Asia Pacific Index advanced 0.2 percent to 121.78
as of 9:02 a.m. in Tokyo. The gauge advanced 11 percent from
this year's low on June 4 through Oct. 26 as stimulus measures
in the U.S., Japan and China boosted sentiment amid a global
economic slowdown and Europe's debt crisis. Markets in China and
Hong Kong are yet to open.
